Melissa parties at the Playboy Mansion in LA
Wow, this one was fun! (but trust me... much tamer than one would imagine.) The charity event (benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project) was hosted by the Karma Foundation; and turned out to be an another amazing event.

Artist Melissa Bain travels to Italy!
Melissa travelled to Italy in March 2008, visiting Florence, Tuscany, Sienna, Venice and more. "My favorite part of the trip was definitely Venice, but I also loved my stay at Castello Di Tornano; an idyllic castle sthat dates back to the 10th century that sits nestled a top a mountain, surrounded by valley upon valley of wine vineyards and olive trees. |

Installation of Latest Art Commission Completed!
Wow, was this one fun to install! Sizing just roughly over 8ft x 4 1/2 ft, my commissioned piece "New Day" was installed into it's new home, high in the sky in a 47th floor penthouse overlooking the outstanding waterfront views of Yaletown, Vancouver BC, Canada. Leo Awards
The 5th annual Leo Awards, which celebrates the best in B.C. film and television, took place Saturday night at the Westin Bayshore Hotel. Local actors and industry folk got the chance to glam up for an evening of honours that can best be described as our very own, home-grown, version of the Oscars. <Pictured Right> Global National executive producer George Brown, seen here wtih artist Melissa Bain, was thrilled to take home a well-deserved Leo.
