To get an accurate quote for a commissioned painting or custom painted portrait, please email us with the following information:
- Dimensions (in feet or inches)
- The medium; i.e. Oil, Acrylic, or other
- The date the painting is needed by (if applicable)
- Delivery location, i.e. city & country
- If the painting is a portrait, pet portrait, or a decor piece for your home, please also submit a few clear digital pictures that accurately reflect the object(s) of inspiration.
Artist Melissa Bain accepts commissions for artwork and painted portraits in her signature abstract-expressionist and figurative styles only. (These are the styles in which she is most passionate about.) Please refer to the art gallery page for samples of this artwork style.
Payment Details : All commissioned paintings require a non-refundable 50% deposit. This is to cover the cost of initial materials and supplies purchased, as well as any time invested by the artist.
Full payment is required prior to delivery of the commissioned artwork. The cost for delivery is included in your originally quoted price.
If you wish to prepay the entire amount, you will get a 5% PrePay discount applied to the originally quoted amount.
Payment Options: You may pay for your art commission with cash, certified cheque or credit card payment via paypal.
Delivery: The artist will ensure protective packaging, and insured, safe delivery of the commissioned piece to your requested destination.
